WoW AoTC or Ahead of the Curve is an account-wide achievement awarded for killing the current raid's Heroic last boss. Each raid has its own AoTC achievement before the next raid releases. Ideally, you should get the AotC every season. If you want to skip weeks of failed raids with unskilled PUGs, get Ahead of the Curve boost.

Charging 150k is essentially saying the mount is $25 as a token is about 130k if you don't have the gold and you have to sell a token it'll be $20, but even then you still need an extra 20k. I don't think any mount is worth $15-25, unless it is part of the charity event.
