I also ensured that the TV’s Ambient Light Sensor (found in the Picture settings menu) was disabled. For SDR tests, I kept the X93L’s Gamma setting at -2 and the Brightness setting at 35. Although 2.2 Gamma is the most “accurate” setting, lowering it on the QM8 doesn’t ruin the picture and the TV actually handles it very well with no loss of mid tones.
