I greatly enjoyed my recent 3-night stay at Vdara. I had a King Suite on the 17th floor with a view of the Aria across the street and the pool below. The room (s) was clean and very spacious, featuring a truly separate bedroom and full bath, as well as a sizeable sitting area, a kitchenette/dinning area, and powder room.

Aria is a full service casino/resort, with a casino (duh!), several restaurants, an elaborate pool area, shows, bars, etc. Vdara is a condo type property that happens to be attached to Aria. Bellagio is classic Vegas. Vdara is FAR from it and does not even have a casino. Bellagio also has a more central location and it is easy to get to and from many different hotels/casinos from their location.
