Came Bck out and 4lo was blinking with VSC and Check engine light on. Turning key did nothing. Played with gas cap, moved some wiring in the fuse box, switched between 2wd, 4 lo and 4 hi. Unplugged battery for 5+ minutes, reconnected and the truck started and died. Started it again.Yes, I finally got to it and fix it. It was the 4wd actuator switch on the transfer case. Toyota want almost $1000 for that part alone and you'll still have to open the transfer case up to pull the actuator off. Instead I went a bought an used whole transfer case for $600 and put it on. No more 4lo flashing and my 4hi and 4lo work now.
