The new to me VCMA from a 2013 Forte eco sedan took 3 weeks for the code/DTC's to permanently get erased & gone. I Got the VCMA from the local salvage/junk yard. Visit your local salvage/junk yard for a Forte of the same gen. Switch them out. If the second new to you VCMA doesn't clear then it's coming from another area.
