Assault shotgun with drum mag is clutch in tight spaces. MKII pump with explosives is also a handy tool, but between the two I would say assault. Honourable mention to the Musket over here. I like the Cayo Perico shotgun myself, but Assault Shotgun is a staple. Top three are Assault, Mk2 and Heavy.

Performance-wise it is a bit similar to others in its class except for its higher fire rate. Equipping it with a suppressor doesn’t affect performance that much although slower reloading happens in some cases.
