I don’t know, I think this is just another sign EU4 has been taken as far as it can go. I’m not really a fan of the direction they’ve taken mission trees. I feel like I have to read the whole tree before I unpause the game, otherwise I’ll miss something or not play the way the tree rewards the player for playing.There is 0.5-1 sec pause each 1st day every month and days start "counting" slowly, then faster, then by 8th-10th day it's full speed, then again, suddenly by 1st day of next month again big drop and 0.5-1 sec pause.
