Enclave is just a better version of plasma gun and can now be made legendary so yeah…also all the big you tubers have made a video on it recently, like soloing Earle, probably why it’s so popular atm. I've always seen plasma guns with flamers. It is pretty powerful if you can keep it fed.

The Enclave Plasma Rifle Receiver mods (Beta Wave) and Barrel mods (Flamer) can only be purchased from the Watoga vendors. Scope mods (Night Vision) can be purchased at Watoga and at other Vendors (R&G, Berkley, etc.). {revised based on testing} The Enclave Plasma Rifle mods can drop as a reward from Dropped Connection.
It is the opposite for me. Phoenix has never had even one enclave plasma mod in the hundreds of times I've visited. I have 3 or more of every mod other than the flamer barrels, which all came from the watoga station vendor. For whatever reason, he has never dropped a flamer mod. FYI I server hopped for 12h today, going to all vendors in the area of watoga including rezin. I found about 7 mods like enclave sniper or wave tuner mods and some duplicates. Im pretty sure I didnt find any mods in any place except watoga station or super duper mart. Yup, the important things on dropped enclave rifles is the reflex sight and the stabilized stock. After that, you enter different markets. Some people like the automatic barrel, some people like the splitter barrel, but most like the flamer barrel, and if they are very choosy and don’t want the stabilized flamer, they can cough up the 30k caps and get the mod. Yes that's a really good roll. B and FFR are great for the flamer, and energy weapons break really quickly. Quite optimal if you're not a VATS based build. Good roll!
