Amara on the other hand, has a great gap closer via Phase Slam and various ways of increasing her melee range and multiple ways to boost her melee damage. I'm only lvl 11 with my Amara and I'm really enjoying weaving Phase Slams, melee attacks, and gunfire. And once I get her leveled up and unlock the neccesary skills, she'll be even more fun.

1. Face-Puncher. The ultimate weapon for Amara. If your going with the already infamous Amara Melee Build, then this gun is a MUST-have. The damage from this unique gun is actually counted as melee damage. Meaning you get to punch bad guys in the face with both your fists and your gun.

In general with spiritual driver you want and elemental projector victory rush, For skill trees I'd go down orange till sustainment, go down blue for avatar, a few points in green for gun damage and splash damage. You can have as many as five stacks of Samsara active at a time, and with all five points allocated, you receive a 5.1% boost. Like Clarity, this plays nicely with the Restless skill.
