Check out what I ended up with with the correct measurements on a side hung "non adjustable" Holley 4160 carb. The front float at 7/64" gap at the "toe": The rear float is supposed to be 13/64" measured at the "heel". I don't like how it looks. Setting Holley float level = gas everywhere! Let me preface this by saying I am a newbie to many aspects of this hobby. I am trying to set the float level on my Holley 650 (List #4777-2). I loosened the top screw a bit and then turned the nut clockwise a couple turns so that the float level would be below where it should be.The glass type of float bowl uses special screw clips.
