Clean and lube it prior to shooting, Give it 250 rds of break in, clean and lube again, and you'll be good to go! I did the same regimen with my Staccatos that I do with all my pistols. I think it really comes down to size. If you are using it for edc I would choice the wilson as it is smaller.But the real point is that's the price point of any solid 1911 or 2011. We've gotten used to glocks, sigs, S&W, etc and they're all typically $700 or less. But if you want a halfway decent 1911 you're spending 1500 at minimum. When you think about it that way the staccato non-comp line is really fairly priced imo.The Staccato P 2011 is rooted in the 1911 design, but highly refined. If it is the same metal as the Vario trigger assembly using Aluminum trigger, I would consider changing them out. A very reputable GunSmith here in NC will cost me ~$450 to change out the trigger so it is tuned properly, and also to reduce the weight down to 3.5#. I have a Staccato C dpo with the Dawson optic plate for the RMRCC. I need to swap the front carry sized sight for a proper co witness. My Staccato P dpo came with tactical front sights and my trijicon RMR co witness was right on with the Dawson optic plate. Hopefully my experience so far with the Staccato dpo options help.

I have both a 5" and 4.15" stacatto. The 5" has an adjustable rear sight and thinner "target" front sight, while the 4.15" has the fixed/ledge rear sight and wider, combat front sight. The bigger front sight is not as precise as the target sight, but it is certainly a little easier to find and focus on.
