Hey Guys, I got a shop and when a polaris comes in with wiring problems, the codes NEVER disappear after the repair. Removing battery, positive, negetive, or touch the cables together, NOTHING WILL WORK! Except dragging the damn thing down to the dealer and and re-flashing the computer. Ive been through this with over 20 or more ATV/RZR/Ranger.

Cut the wire into where it is frayed. Skin back about 1/4" of insulation and slide on heat shrink. Solder the wire back together, dab on liquid electrical tape, slide the heat shrink over the area and heat. Voila, the short is fixed.
