From everything I've read Holley dates through 1972 are 3 digits and 73 and later are 4-digits. So what's with a 3092 date?As for reading date codes on Holley carbs, there are 3 digit dates and 4 digit dates. The 3 digit dates lasted until about 1973. The first digit is the year. 6 = 1966, 0 = 1970. The second digit is the month. 2 = February, 9 = September, 0 (for 10) = October. The last two months used letters, A = November, B = December.
