Since this is a CCW forum I feel like it should be noted that the LC9 family can be upgraded to tritium sights. The EC9's sights cannot be upgraded, practically speaking. For me, tritium is a mandatory upgrade on any pistol that might need to be used for defense. I have the safety on my LC9s and I prefer this arrangement.
Actually, the S stands for Striker. The LC9 was hammer fired and Wannie doesn't know what he's talking about. The EC9s is a basic, reliable, affordable and well-made pistol. There is an aftermarket trigger upgrade from Galloway Precision that I installed on my EC9s that takes up most of the travel and shortens the reset for faster results.
