Hi. I will be in Croatia from May 8 - 18. I am thinking about going from Zagreb (1 full day, 2 nights), to Zadar, spend a night in Zadar then on to Split and Dubrovnik.From what I have seen so far, it looks like perhaps there is more to do in and around Split than Dubrovnik (and hopefully cheaper). May 2021. Old Town is one of the gems along the Croatian coast, with impressive fortresses, old city walls, scrumptious seafood restaurants, good people watching, and historic charm. If you have time, I recommend walking inside Old Town, walking the city walls above it, and taking a boat ride (or go kayaking) around it.
