The Light Armor skill tree in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has a focus similar to Heavy Armor, but there are some key differences that give it its own pros and cons. In the end game, there isn't much difference. Most people say that Light Armor is more useful because a.) both heavy and light armor can reach the armor cap and b.) the level 100 Light Armor perk avoids damage instead of reflecting it (you still take damage, the enemy just takes the same damage as you).
