The wider board is more comfortable for longer rides. The board length (stance width) isn't a factor to me. Pint is great for fun or short trips to the market. Pint X is a great value, but I'd say go for the GT if cost isn't an issue for you. Edit: I have a FF Whisper on my XR, stock on Pint, 20 psi for both.
