On the last time it would not restart the dash cluster would turn on but the hour meter would just have dashes. When I tried to retrieve the codes in the dash there were just dashes. I haven't found an engine or m drive tranny part that is not completely interchangeable. Cabs and body are the only real difference. Mack does still hold a higher trade value over the volvo. And mack is just a better looking truck.Make sure the def test good. Then run a nox conversion test with a scan tool and make sure it passes. If it does not then run a regen and make sure the outlet nox is dropping below 100. If it is not then make sure the dpf is not passing any soot at all. Be careful when removing the egr valve mount bolts, they have a bad tendency to break off in the exh. manifold. Work them off slowly and use a lot of quality penetrating oil. When going back together use copper anti-seize on the bolt threads and under the bolt heads/spacers. Torque for the egr mount bolts is 35 ft/lbs.
