It says to time it so the tine is in the 12 o clock position. When I hand tightened it, the muzzle device is about 10-12 degress short of that position. OSS (new name is Huxwrx) instructs to use high temp red loctite and torque it about a quarter turn. PTR's have the 15x1RH thread pitch and accept all the same flash hiders that can be attached to the standard HK91/G3 weapons. I know this becauses my PTR wears a YHM QD flash hider for a .308 Phantom suppressor and that's the threading I used. Sparkplugs are irrelevant. Plenty of HK's and clones.The barrel has "648" stamped twice near the chamber, a large "H" stamp, 12 flutes, and flash hider ratchet grooves. The chamber flutes look a bit too deep near the shoulder. The trunnion has a couple stamps as seen and is new and undrilled. The front sight looks like a bad casting but the cocking tube looks like great quality.
