I've been playing a decent amount of Seven Seas lately, but I do like having large bodies of water more connected. After seeing everything laid out like this, I might switch over to island plates or primordial as my go-to. I'm really just excited to play Victoria on Small Continents. My problem with canals is that they only cover 1 tile, they should cover from 1 to 3 tiles. Covering three tiles is exactly what the panama canal can do. I'm also not familiar with the Heroes & Legends game mode. I'm relatively new (discovered the game about 4 months ago) and have won every type of victory at least once.
