I know the parts aren't guaranteed to last forever, so I decided to add on the Asurion protection plan. My thought process was that getting a 4 year warranty meant the computer was likely to work as long as a new one. I've done technical repairs in the past so I thought that the plan was worth it for the price in parts alone.
