IB job market is not good right now and the standards are higher than they were in 2021, so you’d also have to get comfortable working in FDD for a year or two. Other option is MBA but if you ask me, it’s not worth the cost unless money is not an issue for you.

IMO IB prep is worth it for everyone specifically for the fit question training alone. Don’t bother with financial modeling courses in general, it’s something they will train you with and the benefit of knowing how to model is also quite overblown. It’s a routine daily task rather than some special skill you receive a pat on the back for.
