I use tradestation on my windows (on my mac) which works pretty well for my needs. It's good right out of the box, lots of different commodities and currency futures for reasonable margin. $3-4k will be enough for a couple micro/ commodity contacts. I wouldn't recommend ninjatrader. Really outdated and the whole "lifetime license" is nonsense.Tradovate. Good:-Tradovate back ui is good. I like the account reports with with bunch of P&L graphs and metrics .but sometimes the data is not recent they lag a bit. -In the settings very clearly organized for subscription and modification cme data and membership fees.
