2017 Hyundai Elantra shaking when driving and idle. Hello, I have been having an issue with my car for about a week now. Sometimes when I turn it on and drive it'll shake like it's about to stall on me. Even when I'm idle it'll start to shake. However, sometimes I can go an entire drive home without the engine light coming on and shaking.Still could be a problem on the air side of the heating system. As air passes the heater core the heat from the coolant is exchanged to the air via the heater core. If cold air is mixed in that hot air, it could result in the symptoms that you are getting. Then as the heat increases the cold air is less noticeable.If the front or rear motor mount is weak/bad the vehicle will have a noticeable vibration at idle that seems to disappear when driving. The rear mount I am speaking of is underneath, middle of the car, and runs from the sub-frame to a bracket on the engine block.
