I was loving Marauders and the Hickman half of New Mutants but books like X-Force or Fallen Angels did nothing for me. The main X-Men book, from what I read, was good but disjointed. Ultimately, it was an issue of X-Men that made me drop the whole line.The reading order is Uncanny X-Men (v1) #94-143. Issue #94 picks up right where Giant-Size X-Men #1 left off. Chris’ second era on the books begins when Kitty Pryde joins the team and Jean Grey had died after becoming Dark Phoenix. You’ll see the storylines: Mutant Massacre, Fall of the Mutants, and Inferno.The Deadpool movies are the best and most faithful to the comics. The wolverine movies are disappointing as well. If you have little affinity for the X-men men via comics or animated series then they are not worth watching ahead of the cavalcade of decent films, books or comic books you could be experiencing instead.

Immortal X-men, X-men Red and Legion of X are the real standouts of the current line. This is definitely a good marvel line to start imo, there have been so many books coming out since 2019. It has used many characters from throughout the X-men’s history so it’s great for old and new fans alike.

Wolverine's inevitable backlash of fan outrage stems from its flagrant disregard for its source material. It's Like A Terrible B-Movie X-Men Rip Off That Played With The Same Actor.
