TTW is the best fucking mod ever made for any game, of all time. All of the changes to things like FO3’s perks, bobbleheads, and combat make it so perfect, especially carrying over New Vegas’ gameplay into 3’s amazing worldspace. I installed Tale of Two Wastelands (version 3.2) using The Best of Times modding guide yesterday, and was curious what people recommend for a lite-modded experience. I've played both games in their vanilla state, as well as heavily modded, and don't know what mods would be a good addition to TTW, if any.
It adds things like sprinting and bullet time, and in my opinion is much smoother than project nevada (which is only halfway compatible anyway). Also i am really loving the b42 quick throw, it is also way better than what project nevada has. Makes it like 20 times easier to use grenades and mines. TTW is the best way to play 3, even if you don't plan on playing NV with the same character. TTW as a playthrough of both games is cool, but overrated, but playing 3 in the much better New Vegas engine is underrated. Follow The Best of Times for proper setup. For New Vegas alone, playing it without TTW is better in my opinion.
