It's simply more user-friendly. ArkOS is less pretty and less fun. But it can do some things that JELOS can't. For example, it supports rumble with the RGB30, while (as far as I know) JELOS still doesn't support. Some users swear they've had better performance in ArkOS with some emulators, as well.

Rgb30 is just a unique case with a higher resolution screen than most non-widescreen handhelds (including the 2S), a slightly larger screen than most of them since many are 3.5in while this one is 4 inch, and the 1:1 aspect ratio ends up being a great all around fit for the majority of older consoles especially handhelds like gameboy/color/ngpc.Then you have to shut it down or it won't hold charge over an extended period.
