Spending $3k on a treadmill seems like a lot but when I compare it to things like the peloton that are $2,500 and $40/mo forever the $3k seems like a deal lol. I'll second this.

A dedicated 20A circuit is 20A * .8 = 16A . If the tread is running at 10A plus it makes sense for them to say that you need a dedicated circuit. However, if you have a couple outlets on a circuit and nothing else is plugged in or on you would be fine. An AC could cause problems on the same circuit though.
