Pregnancy tests last three days but i started seeing a very faint line today. I keep seeing posts that Pregmate is unreliable.
I want to do line progression but it can't really be trusted can it x. These are four tests all dipped at the same time in the same pot of urine yet while the middle two are the same the bottom if paler and top a vvvfl. That was 10dpo (line on first response showed on 9) and I kept using pregmates just for science and they stayed just like that, maybe a bit darker. I finally took one at something like 6 weeks and it was finally a solid line, within time frame. I just wanted to get a true dye stealer where the test line was darker than the control line, but don’t think I’ll be getting it. I have an ultrasound and another beta check in 3 days (will be 26DPO, 5w5d).I tested negative with pregmate at 9 dpo despite getting positives with both my previous pregnancies at 9. The tests are not meant to measure the amount of HCG in your urine, but simply detect it’s presence. They are quantitative not qualitative. HCG doubles every 48-72 hours in early pregnancy (up to a point) so expecting to see line progression after 24 hours is not realistic for MANY people.
