The one I got today has a fancy dark walnut stock and the forearm almost looks like a dark burl walnut, it has a gold trigger and copper butt plate.

Metal is pretty good, but clearly been used. Most of the flathead screws are somewhat boogered up, not terrible, but not like new. Action is very slick.

The most significant difference is the stock. A 30A has a birch stock and no Marlin bullseye. The front sight is not on a ramp but dovetailed into the barrel. It has an endcap instead of bands.
