There is no grade deflation really. The grading is pretty fair across the board tbh. That’s not to say the courses are easy. In engineering for example it can be fairly difficult just to get the mean. If the class is easier it might be centered at a lower grade (B/B-)while a difficult/upper level class may be centered higher (B+/A-).
