The Channel 9 community is mourning the loss of a former anchor this past weekend. Janet England died on Saturday at the age of 72. She was one of the first female news anchors in the Carolinas, and she worked at Channel 9 in the 1980s and '90s. England was beloved in our newsroom and in our community.
