Manslayer is excellent for bosses especially if u duel wield 2 or even manslayer and another katana. Murakamo is good if u have strength so is curved dragon great sword. If ur using no shield I suggest 2 katanas or 2 rapiers.

For a hexer the straight up best pve spell is Dark Orb. From a +5 Dark Sunset Staff you'll be breaking easily 500 damage a cast with 70+ casts (if you get all 3 copies).
