Like the title says, I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 and was recently doing some maintenance on the rear brakes and replaced one of the calipers. I also painted the calipers while I was at it. Now that I have the truck back together the brake light is on while the truck is idling and flashes the second you put it in drive.That tells me that there is a dead short somewhere. We started by disconnecting the bulbs and isolating each of the 10 or so lights that come on with the parking light switch.
