2013 Dodge Avenger no crank no start. Hey everyone! I got an issue that's kind of puzzling me. Long story short, car was running normal yesterday and today, I have a no crank no start. The car doesn't respond to the key fob at all, but when I connect jumper cables to the battery to jump it, the car springs to life and the alarm system starts ...Basically you will need to confirm that the system is receiving the command from the ignition node. This can be confirmed by connecting with a scan tool to check it's status when turning the key. If the status matches then you know the issue is in the CAN BUS wiring between the node and the TIPM or a failed TIPM.It may be possible that your alternator is bad and discharged your brand new battery. Take both the battery and the alternator to your local parts store and have both checked. Mar 24, 2024 · Okay I bought a 2012 Dodge avenger 2.7 L the ignition had been tampered with so the key fit loosely and the mounting brackets were broken.So I decided I was gonna replace the ignition taking it out I broke the halo on the sentry immobilizer receiver so I bought a used receiver off of eBay but to no avail I was told I could not flash a used receiver.
Put gearshift in neutral, emergency brake on and foot on brake pedal, then try to start. While holding ket to start position, move gearshift around slightly. If it now engaged the starter, then neutral start switch needs adjustment or its bad. Hope that helps out.
