Jun 15, 2016 · I have been looking to add a Glock 45 to my stable of Glocks. I am having a very hard time deciding between the 30 and the 30S. I know the 30 is a sweet shooter in a small package, but it is fairly hefty. All that heft does absorb recoil though. The 30s is thinner in the slide and obviously a lighter gun.
