Pulled codes and got a b2206 indicating a short in run/stop circuit. I pulled the switch housing and found the wire from switch was not pushed in all the way. Pushed it in and heard it click into place. Problem solved, right. Nope. Put it back together and same code. I can clear the code when switch is in off position, but not while in run.

Sep 4, 2019 · Actually, those codes (p2121 & p2271) don't exist. They must be B2121 and B2271, both of which are BCM codes. B2121 is "starter output open and B2271 is "BCM voltage low". You either have a bad BCM or a wiring problem between the BCM and the starter. Since you checked voltage at pin L2 on the BCM to be low, that seems to be the place to start.
