I think it also rains less by default with Cathedral. Rain in both Obsidian and Cathedral looks like crap and I've yet to find any ENB rain textures that look nice with Cathedral+Silent Horizons. I stole the raindrop textures from Rustic Weathers and disabled rain in the ENB settings after some other poster recommended it. Definitely worth. IMO Cathedral Weathers is the best weather mod for SSE. I use Silent Horizons as for me it's the best looking for CW. Rudy doesn't have a CW version. There are some decent reshades out there, but I still prefer ENB. Another decent option for CW is Lucid ENB, which outperforms Silent Horizons as far as fps is concerned.
