Jagex launcher is 100% worth it since you can get it to launch the runelite client, there isn't really a reason not to use it. Hands down one of the best things to come to RS recently. It’s almost as mandatory as Runelite for me. Tbh I really couldn’t imagine not using it …

According to Jagex, they ban dozens daily. The bots make so much money they can instantly replace themselves. If you want to get rid of the scammers you have to stop the real problem. The people gambling/falling for the scams. They are the ones paying for the whole operation.

There are definitely reasons not to use it. For instance, once added to a Jagex account, a character cannot be removed. Also the max character limit is 20. When they released Jagex accounts I went around and added every single character I ever created to it, and now have 14/20 slots utilized. To be fair, rs players are pretty spoiled and just pretend jagex is not a business at times. Money comes first and chances are their support team has been told to prioritise money issues like these. It annoys me especially when people expect every jmod (especially the osrs ones) to actively play the game outside of their work.
