Moonveil is more agile, does a good chunk of damage with or without buffs. Compare to DMGS directly, the main difference is that AOW damage cannot be buffed by Godfrey Icon. Bottomline, DMGS for fights that would end fast (e.g getting all the charged attack in without break). Moonveil if the fight requires faster reaction.

On an int>dex build, Moonveil is simply your best option. It provides the 1 thing sorceries are generally lacking, posture damage and strong normal attacks that cost no FP.
