I wrote every step while I was doing it, so here is a guide on how to upgrade or install modded Beat Saber without losing your data. This was made for version 1.28.0_4124311467, using the latest BMBF version.

Apparently there is a bug were deleting beat saber keeps a ghost copy on your system which keeps you from reinstalling later. Uninstalling that ghost copy, using sidequest and adb commands worked for me. Hope I’m able to help some other people as well. 2.
