Apr 25, 2013 · The hammer was proabley up in the fired position when you tried to install the slide. The hammer must be down when you install the slide. About to problem with the barrel rubbing aganist the slide. Check under the slide and look at the top front of the ejection port and make sure there are no little bumps there.
