The majority of the spray on the DLV come straight back out the bow. Because of the way it is shaped it just funnels it forward and the wind grabs it and brings it right over the bow. Like in 5 gallon buckets worth at a time. On the DLX there are 2 chines On the bow that help knock that bow spray down. DLV also give up 3-4" in draft for the DLX.
