Like a few posts I've read, some Subaru owners are having a problem with the key getting stuck in the ignition after shutting down the car. I've tried a new technique that seems to be working. Remove the screw. Pull the right side of the cover apart top from bottom. You will see a connector to the key switch with two wires I think a white and black wire. If I start the car back up, and shift it into Drive, and them slam it back into Park, then I can turn the car off and remove the key.
